One HUGE concern I would have with using the original "M" cast iron flywheel is it flying apart, those flywheels first off are not well balanced, plus by now most probably have hairline cracks in them. It would be a very bad scene if you put a V8 in your "M", and had the flywheel let loose at 4000 RPM!! There would be pieces in the next township!! Playing with the old tractors is a lot of fun, and we can do some really neat things, but we have to be sure to practice safety as well.
