It's the poor boy way to repair those cracked up steering wheels you can't get an original for.Make a mold then remove all the old plastic and scuff the rim of the steering wheel. Add fiberglass and steering wheel shut tight and wait.The hard part is sanding to preference after it's dry.Add a little paint and it looks like new for about $10. and some effort.When that fiberglass cures it smokes especially on cold days.
