I'd have to agree with Jim... I had a '92 F-350 4x4 w/460 v-8 &had heard lots of good stuff about Gale Banks engineering. Bought their "power pack" kit for my rig which consisted of "tri-y" headers, an absolute MONSTER stainless steel exhaust system and a K&N air flow system. Set me back about $1500. Bank's literature claimed gains in horsepower and mileage... there was absolutely NO DOUBT about the increase in power... the truck was a dually & unless I was careful, I would squeal the tires taking off from a stop light. I didn't notice much in the mileage department, though... as Jim mentioned, maybe 1-2 mpg. But, I figured if I was burning all that gas, it sure was nice to have a ton of power to go with it!!!
