Is this a scam?

Most of the time when someone posts an "is it a scam" email on this or other message boards, it always strikes me as a waste of space, and I swore I'd never do it, but this is a good one I got today, and here it is VERBATIM... ------------------------------------------------ We are currently performing blah regular maintenance of our security measures.
