I'm right outside Charlotte, NC, which is a pretty big place, still the weather here doesn't make major headlines anywhere but here. Funny thing is since the ice storm caught us by suprise a few years ago now we don't have normal weather people on the news, not we have the "Storm Trackers"... "The Severe Weather Center"... or whatever. If it says "bad weather" they have named themselves after it somehow. It's a hoot watching the latest update from the "Severe Weather Center" making a big deal about the spring shower that is comming through "possibly causing major floods", or the light dusting of snow that lasts all of 30 minutes and how it is gonna have major effects on the morning commute.... All the while their lucky if their right 50% of the time about the rain that "might come" when it's pouring buckets outside. Is it just the news/weather services in the South that are this stupid, or is it nationwide???
