I have owned a 444 Diesel for 15 years and they are tuff little tractors. Mine is a British version so holding true to its heritage, it leaked a little fluid from a rear axle and I have had a few electrical problems. I replaced the axle seal and replaced the generator with the least expensive (approx $30) alternator (with a built in regulator) I could find. Excellent engine and good hydraulics. I highly recommend the tractor for light to medium utility work and you would need front weights to handle 1200 pound round bales of hay. Good luck.
