I don't know anything about the V-10 except what my customers tell me. It is a popular engine in class A RV's and those who have told me, like it. Does well on gas in the RV application (like around 12MPG+) which I suppose is pretty good considering the old 460 and 454's got a whole lot less. Had a guy in today with a 99 class C (econoline chassis) and he thought it was the hot shucks. And as pickie as he was it must be pretty good cause he bought it new. Personally I was surprised this past summer that there were no real problems with this engine in the RV's in our desert temps. This was the year they were coming of "age" and they held up for vacationers.
