don't know what these boys been smokin,but i actually have a 2000 F-350 4WD with a V-10 and a 5 speed manual. i get 15 empty and 13 with a loaded 14K gooseneck. it's extremely smooth and quiet and enough low end torque to excelerate from 35 mph when empty. saved 4000$ over the diesel. of course, if you need a smoky,shakin,noisy pickup to feel manly, then go with the diesel. bet i made some friends with this post, huh. -brutus-
