I don't think, although I'm not a mechanic, that the brand makes that much of a difference. I think it is as stated before it's the mix. Granted it was a long time ago, late 70's, when I was in high school, I worked at a Grandpa Johns Store in Southern, Illinois. (kinda of mix between Ace and Western Auto) Anyway, the salesman for out automotive supplies told me that there was only two manufacturers of Antifreeze in the nation. They sold thier products to others who would use thier own jugs and such to sell them. Of course each one could add additional additives. Just a thought.
