The Yanmar tractors and others built in Japan are traded early in their life due to Japanese gov- ernment incentives to trade early. They are small due to the plot size that they are designed to work in Japan and Asia in general. Grey market machines in this country can be dangerous to the careless or uninformed due to factors such as lack of starter safety interlocks and multiple speed PTO's that could cause injury or death if run on certain speed sensitive equipment. Be careful and informed when you use these bargains and you pro- bably will be OK and save alot of money.
