I really have not found a best plug. Some engines seem to like one brand or another. A magazine article about ignition systems stated that the heat range of all plugs is not exactly the same. The plug recommended for an engine by one plug company may be slightly hotter or colder than that recommended by another,and this slight difference is why some engines seem to do better with one brand of plug under certain operation conditions. This has proven to be true in my equipment.
