First you have to know if it is a magneto or distributor ignition, the distributor would be simple, just buy an automotive kit and follow the instructions. To use with a magneto,you will need to find an inductive type tachometer that clips over the spark plug wire like a timing light, and generates a signal from it. I have one that was a kit bought long ago from the Heath Mfg. folks, not sure they are still around anymore. Probably the only other way will be a mechanically driven one. Gene Davis
