Hello fellows, Boy its hard to admit failure -but here goes! Broke the 350 Farmall "Landfill"
at trany and engine and rebuilt it. Got it all back and running only to have it leak at the rear main seal. I noted when I put the main seal in that it was to long to match exactly when the 2 halves met. How the &%() do You do this job and succeed?.I have rebuilt many engines but none with the rag seal. I was afraid to trim it as it wud probably leak then too.Any help wud be aprec. when I try it again ---along toward spring when the bluebird sings???? All else went great and she sounds strong with the step pistons. John
