UTB 445 DT 4 wheel drive slips

I hope someone can help with this problem I have run into on a UTB 445. When under load with the 4 wheel drive engaged the drive shaft to the front axle stops. I am wondering if anyone hase any experiance with this.
it would seem that there is some sort of slip clutch. can you confirm this and how can it be repaired. thank you for your time.
