Chuck, My thinking was the same as yours is. I wanted something a little more modern but I didn't want it a whole lot bigger than my 46 2N. After looking for over a year, this fall I bought a 1965 2000. It's a LOT more tractor than an N. 2000 and 3000 are the same size, just yours has a little more HP. Your price seems a little high though. I paid $4500 for mine with 2150 original hours. I did not get live PTO or PS or any attatchments with it. But it had always been shedded and looks nearly new. Keep looking I'd say. Your tractor is out there. You might also consider a Ferguson TO35. I saw one yesterday. Not much bigger than an N but has LPTO and PS. Real nice tractor. Funny but after looking for a year for my Ford and expecting to have to drive some thousands of miles to fetch it I found this one practically in my back yard. I drove it home when I bought it. Good luck Jerry
