I ran across a 3000 with a ford loader through my brother-in-law. He was selling it for an estate. I got mine for $3500. I know I got a steal. I had some fuel problems, flushed the gas tank and put a new fuel pump on it. I was swearing alot during that job. I then bought a posthole digger and thats when I found out the PTO clutch didn't work. I think the previous owner never used a PTO implement. That was $500 but I was able to split the tractor and do it myself. I love mine. If it sits for a while it will start hard.Other than that I think your making a good choice. Not to big, it does not take up too much space and much nicer than the 8N I had. Good luck
