Tony, only industrial tractor have fronts, strong enough to really support a front loader. They work kind of like a seesaw, when you lift up something heavy it has all that weight, and transfers an equal amount off of the rear wheels to the front wheels. I stretch out my backhoe and fill it with dirt, sometimes the rear tires still get up off the ground when lifting. Thats the reason Caterpillar started mounting the engines in the rear, for a counter balance. alvinnms
