First of all great website, I have enjoyed the pics and the threads. But here is a question for you.I have a duetz twin cylinder diesel tractor, it is a 3006 model It was running fine, uses a bit of oil but other than that ran great. Yesterday I started it and it seemed ok for a few seconds and then the rpms dropped and it would only stay at an idle. Actually, it would more like surge, from a few hundred rpm to 1000 rpm it would do this continually and still does. Does any one have any idea as to what I should be looking for? I have drained and replaced the fuel and filter is new, checked and cleared the fuel lines other than that it appears to be maybe a governor problem or is there not one on this tractor. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Dave Galloway Floresville Texas
