I bought a 2003 F250 with the 6.0 in it about a month ago. Got about 2500 miles on it--no problems so far. Before I bought it I asked around a lot and got horror stories for Ford, Chevy/GMC and Dodge. Went to a farm auction and saw probably 3 times as many Ford diesels as all the other makes combined. Figured if it does have problems at least I'll have a lot of company. What's a guy to do? Until the Japanese build a heavy duty pickup we're stuck with the big three. If you do buy Ford, don't buy from Phil Long Ford in Colorado. Biggest jerks you'll ever find.
