I guess I was about 4-5 when I got to steer my granddaddy's Ferguson 35 special with sitting in dads lap. By the time I hit 7 or so I was driving it alone and then moved up to dad's JD 820 (3 cylinder diesel) We used to go to alot of local horse shows and I always got to disc and harrow the ring by myself before I hit ten. Talk about an ego trip!

Grandaddys tractor is about 2 miles from here and i plan on getting it back and restoring it for my kids and someday grandkids.
