My first and I learned to drive on it was a homemade garden tractor. I was with my dad in the fields on his M farmall every minute he would let me so when I was 7, He bought a LA case to drive in the same field with him. He thought the LA would be safe for me as it had a hand clutch, single brake and big fenders to keep me from falling off/out. I used it for two seasons and it was a wonderful ole tractor except in plowed field it took forever to turn it without turning brakes!! In 1959 he bought me (and him I suppose) a brand new MF 65. I will be posting pictures sometime.
