I replaced my old ultility tractor a MF 90 with a Belaurs 825. Sorry but no comparison the Belarus is a better unit. Old American built tractors have their place. But I know more than one guy who has bought an old JD, Ford, MF and so on that was nothing but a big pile of worn out junk!! Beleive me I know cause they bring them down for me to try and fix. I feel sorry for some of these guys cause they got ripped off. I bought a USED low hr. 7 year old (not 40 year old) belarus with a domestic loader and hyd. valves for what some pay for thier lawn mower tractors! It gets used for around the farm all the time. They are crude and not fancy by any means but can do the job any other tractor can.
