Andy, not sure if type "A" is made anymore, but any ATF fluid should work, or if Case dealers have TCH fluid anymore you can use that. ATF is better in the winter since it's thinner than TCH, ATF won't turn the convertor as bad due to drag caused by stiffness of cold oil. I'm not too familiar with a 530 so I can't tell you for sure how or where to fill it, I've got an 830 & 3 930's
