I would say that the unloader valve is probably sticking when cold. If so, it will get worse as time goes on. It's not a bad job to go ahead and put a kit in it. It's just scary to think about it. Lift the hydraulic cover off the tractor, remove the plate where an auxiliary valve can be mounted. One of the bolts holding the cylinder is hidden under this plate. If you are concerned about getting things back right. Get a camcorder and record the disassembly and talk to yourself while you are taking it apart. The unloader valve is in the cylinder assembly right next to the manual valve. It's supposed to float free. A new O ring will usually fix it. Pop the piston out with a little airpressure. DON"T catch the piston with your hand. Soak the leather backing washer in warm water. It goes opposite the pressure side of the piston. Good luck. The kits are very inexpensive, less than fifteen bucks.
