I will have to agree with rustyfarmall on this one. 7 years ago I bought a neighbors 44 Massey at his auction. 1 owner, good tires, straight tin, power steering add on 3 pt.,good paint, started on the coldest morning, this was a nice tractor. I kept it several years until I needed money to buy a tractor I wanted in my collection. Asked $1200.00 for it, couldn't sell it. I went to an auction 20 miles from home and watched a 44 Massey with no tires or rims, seat and tin missing, motor stuck just in poor condition bring $795.00. I tried to sell mine to one of the two guys that had bid on this one, but they didn't want mine. So when you figure out bidders, let me know, we will make a fortune. I am in Kansas, but not sure this has anything to do with the price differance in tractors.
