I am in total agreement that oem manuals are better as they contain a lot more information, however for those of us who work on several brands and several models of each brand, it is cost prohibitive to buy oem for them all. I&T manuals are geared toward us and contain specs and procedures unique to a specific model. They don't have information that would be considered general or basic mechanical knowledge. According to one of their editors the information they contain is taken directly from the oem manuals. If you only need manuals for one or two of your own tractors, oem is definatly the way to go. Get all three, operators, shop/repair, and parts.
