Frank Perkins started to make diesel engines I want to think in the 30s was a very successful company owned for many years by the varity corp of canada who owned massey-ferguson,hence the fittment of perkins into massey products,owned now for several years and fitted it seems into everything by the #1 manufacturer of quality equipment, CATERPILLAR, what more is there to say.
