$25.00? 35.00? I won't even think about bush hogging for less than $50.00, and I get all I want at that price. My "usual" rate is $60.00. That's a 60 HP tractor, with a 6' mower. With today's fuel prices, the price of parts, and just what you'd have to spend to buy a tractor, and $60 isn't big money. Bushhogging CAN be tough on a tractor or mower. I do a few "monthly" cuttings, that aren't much more than mowing grass. Those can be "discounted" by a few bucks. (Monthly "regular" work, is usually done at a set price) The "Once a summer, wheather it needs it or not" stuff gets the FULL PRICE, no matter what. I do work for a "Notoriously CHEAP" real estate company in our area. They give me around a hundred hours of mowing every summer. They pay the $60, and never bat an eye.
