MF F-40 stuck clutch

I have a MF F-40 with a clutch that is not working, I have freed up the drive plate from the pressure plate and it spins freely when the clutch pedal is engaged but when the engine is running the clutch will not disengage the transmission and cannot be shifted in or out of gear.... Is there anyone who could tell me what else could be stuck not letting the clutch work, and is there anything I can do that might help short of breaking the tractor in two and overhauling the clutch.... I would appreciate any information, Thanks
