Not sure of your setup. But cars, I have disconnected the return line to the resevoir, added a longer piece of hose to route into a bucket. Removed the resevoir filler cap, had some PS fluid close by, had someone else start the engine, and just poured fluid in the resevoir, flushes all the old stuff in the bucket. Just don't let the resevoir go dry. Hope this helps.
