Canada also send alot of relief to NY during the crisis. There was a lot of extra blood drives and food drives as well we sent fire fighters and rescue people to help with the recovery efforts. Sometimes the American media passes over how the Canadians help. Not that we are doing it for press time but it is nice to know you are appreciated. You should also know that not all the Canadian citizens agree with our government's and anti war protester's stand on the Iraq war. Personnally I think it was disgusting that we did not offer assistance to our only neighbouring country (USA) and our mother country (England) when they went to war. It had shades of WWII when we (Canada) and England were at war and the USA refused to join. I was afraid that something large would happen to us and bring us into the war like Pearl Harbour did then. You know the old saying "if you don't learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it". I am sure glad that the US had the guts to end Saddam's reign.
