drive the pin out where the shift lever pivots lift the shift lever out and look inside you will see the rails they want to be all lined up this will be in neutral. Your pin that you drove out may be worn or the end of the shift lever needs to be built up. Tying the clutch depressed will help in moving the shift rails to the neutral position. You can also remove the top cover of the transmission instead of removing pin.
