I was dropped 14 years ago and never looked back, I went to Allied (cheaper rates anyway) and have been with them every sinse, car, home & farm. The reason for this post is my brother was the last FB member in a family of 12 kids. He had been with them 17 years but they dropped his home owners coverage when he had 2 claims in one year (roof hailed out and a picture window that was broken while they where away from home). Those where the only two claims he had on his home in those 17 years and they flat refused to renew his coverage, however they said they would continue to cover his cars and his life, he told them all or none and they chose none (he's with Allied now also). I found it very interesting that FB has about three time as many members as there farmers in the this country and of the farmers I know very few are members. I also read the 60 Minutes transcript (I know about as balanced as the Federal budget) but it did expose a few things about FB that only confirmed my initial feelings about them.
