During the "developmental trials" of the New Generation tractors, they were painted red and a darker yellow, to disguise them, as they were tested outdoors. It seems that everyone wanted to know what Deere was up to. They found out in August of 1960. (the colors were very simalar to old Massey-Harris colors)
