You are right,Greenbeanman. My experience with Farm Bureau was mostly in the 60s and 70s. Farms are larger now with different marketing strategys
(sp). I suppose that farmers are looking more globally than locally. I know of one who buys his fuel on the futures market and when the price is right orders up a few semi loads. The small guy doesn't have that luxury. The huge conglomerate
Archer Daniels Midland is pushing to have crops grown in the places of the World best suited and then distributing from there. Sounds like an ideal situation for an intentional famine. It is all in the name of control. Ed
