Dear sirs:I have been practicing autobody for forty three years now;And there has bin a real improvement on primers.I am not going to name one brand because they are all pretty much the same compound.What i am referring to is the new etching primers that are made to etch into the metal and even into a rusty surface when lose scale is removed and grease.What you must remember is to properly mix the the thinner tothe primer,because the thinner has the etch agent in it,Phosphoric acid,which etches intothe surface.
