Gary in TX, "People think more of hookers than farmers" not so sure about that Gary. A farmer has fo wear many hats, he/she must be a veterinarian, mechanic, plumber, carpenter, electrician, weatherman, banker and so many other professions all rolled in one. And most of them are the hardest working people you will find anywhere. I have been a IBEW electrician for going on 30 years and have been on the apprenticeship selection commitee for a few years. And it always seemed any kid that applied and was accepted and had any background in farming always had a excellent work ethic and would be able to handle and piece of equipment without any problem. So as far as most people having more respect for hookers than farmers, I dont think so. But I do have to add that I have great deal more respect for hookers than for any politician.
