Most any small engine dealer can get you a rod. When you replace it, start using 5W-30 oil instead of straight30. These rods are kind of fragile and they don't like to stir that thick 30wt oil when it's cold. If you have some of the rod stuck to the crankshaft (or piston to the cylinder wall) you cantake it off with a bit of Muriatic acid. It will rust stuff like crazy, so, be sure to spray everything down good with WD-40 as soon as you get it off.
