Hey Indydirtfarmer, I am about 80 miles SW of Indy and your report sounds about like mine. I posted nearly the same sorta message on another forum. We started out in a rough farming year this spring, but then God blessed us with all the right weather so far! By my calculations I may well be in the 70+ bpa range of soybeans... {and God just blessed us a few minutes ago with a rain that will help fill all these flat pods!} I empathize (and pray) for those that are needing rain... or had too much! That was me last year!!! But this is about the best crop year that I have had in 20 years of farming... and I need it to pay off all the money that I still owe from last year. Last year was about the worst year I had in 20 years... So I s'pose it all works out to 'bout average. I have done a lot of talking to/with God in the last few years... and yet, he still gives me what I need, not what I want! To God be the Glory!!!
