One of my friends has had many problems from peeping toms to theives. The cops never had enough to do anything with on all the cases. He did the alarm thing and the thieves figured out how to tie up the phone lines so the alarm company didnt know what was up. He took maters in his own hands. Bought a camera set up from radio shack, put it in a place no one could see and every time something happens now they get the perp. in usually less than 2 days. If you really want to catch and not just scare them dont put up any alarm or camera warning signs. His set up was less than $300 and uses a regular vcr. Good Luck
