You and your family have every right to be concerned. I myself have been in the same situation. The local cops were no help. The only thing that was a piece of mind to me was the fact that I took the time to school my family in the use of fire arms. It never came to that ,thank GOD, but, There is alot of sick individualls out there. Confrounting this person may be risky at best but, if your local law inforcement is not any help maybe a group of nieghbors carring shotguns "looking for a rabbid dog that ate some of my chickens" would do the trick.
