I think you're doing the right thing by being patient and looking at everything on both ends of the price scale. That way you'll get a better idea of what's available at what price. The more tractors you see, the better you will become at spotting trouble spots and also "ugly" things that really don't matter. Do this long enough and you'll find the right deal that works for you. Get in a hurry and you'll probably overpay for something that doesn't quite fit the bill. Happy Hunting!

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
