To do it correctly,you will need a donor tractor to remove the steering post,pump and lines to retain originality. This method will add value to the tractor from an originality standpoint if you are going to restore the tractor. The add on units(I,m assuming this is what you are refering to) will make the tractor easier to steer and can probably be adapted to your tractor. From a working tractor standpoint it probably won't hurt the value. But it won't increase the value if you are going to sell it as a restored tractor.JMHO
