Just replaced the battery(Motorcraft - factory) in my 1984 F150 last April. So beat up (the truck, that is) that I only use it as a snowplow truck for the lane and some friends. My brother is a service manager at local Ford dealer and even he couldn't believe it..19-20 years and it's been let go dead several times, and the drain from the plow pump over the last 4 years has near killed it several times as well. If not for the plow, it might still be going....
