No Joke here, all serious.Guy up the road lost his sister in 1957.Her employer,a local "well to do getleman" had hired her part time to watch after his mother on the weekends while he was "stepping out" with the ladies.Well, the girl, who was like 20 or 21 or so,had this boyfriend, who wasnt the same race as her,and here in the south, back then, that was completly unheard of.Well the girls daddy found out about this and he and some of his hooded friends hung him up.The girl supposedly shot herself in the head over this in the car!Well, the car was still new,it only had like 2300 miles on it then.It ended up that the girls oldest brother got the car and put maybe another 25000 or so on it when he died in the car.Well to make this long story shorter, the car has a battery in it,its been in there as long as Ive known the people, which is about 20 yrs and it will still turn the engine over one or two times. It wont start it up unless its jumped or charged for a few hours, but it will hold a charge.I dont know if its ever been changed or when, but it will start the car.Its an EXCELLO 6 volt.
