Well, I don't still have it, but we had a John Deere battery in a John Deere 140 garden tractor that lasted 27 years. It was origional equipment on the tractor. Was a 12v tractor battery - not the little toy batteries that they put in garden tractors now. We used the dickens out of that tractor, even used it many times to jumpstart other tractors and cars. I don't expect that kind of service out of any other battery! On the other side of the ledger, I bought a new GM car back in the mid '70s with a Delco battery that lasted 13 months. Went out to the car I had junked when I bought the new one, pulled the used Diehard out of it and drove that battery for another two years.
