My tractor has select-a-shift transdraulic drive. While using it today it began to slip in forward gears. I immediately tried to back up, it jerked a few times, went a few feet back, then stopped. I immediately put it in forward gear, it went about 5 feet, and stopped. At this point I had neither forward nor reverse. When I tried to tow it found the rear wheels were locked up. All other hydraulic functions work, such as front loader, pto, rear lift, and power steering. Select shift mechanism seems to be working correctly. Must be something in the transmission function. Does anyone have any ideas?
