Brian, I re-read your first post and the "rusty water" comment is a real worry, I must have missed it the other night. I think a flush and another drier, new oil is a must. Maybe a new tx valve. The slightest bit of moisture could stuff everything up. Your system now could have moisture in it which when heats vapourizes and takes up space in the condenser causing high head pressure. If your mechanic can't flush it, try putting it on a vacume pump for a long time. Jeff
