If vehicle is of a type/value that would make transaction feasible,it is possible some well to do Brit has contracted a firm to seek one for him,however the lack of information as to the name of the firm etc makes it sound bogus.You could request more information and references by email,before proceeding further.Reading the message it appears they want a"cost"(firm price) on the vehicle,nothing more.You really have nothing to lose at this time.
If suspicious read the notice Kim has posted at bottom of Ads boards here.There is an FBI contact link there I believe.

I had a similar experience a couple yrs back with a motor home.Subject contacted me in response to ad,and wanted test drive,specs,said money was on hand etc...turned out to be a "broker" who wanted to take it for free and put it on his out of state lot for comission sale.
