I would guess with an engine like that you will really make those arabs happy, sounds like you are one power hungry fella, I like that. However, a diesel can easily put out 400 horse by turning up the pump, a minimal cost around here. And with the power juiced up you will still get close to 15 mpg loaded or empty. No way can a gasser puttin out that kind of power get that kinda mileage. Oh, been a long time since I have seen a 383, the last one I saw was in a 99 one ton 4wd Chevy. Had the emblem on the hood scoop to prove it was a 383 and it just flat out moved.
